The proposed development will include a mix of 335 homes (10% social housing) across studio, 1-bed and 2-bed apartments, and 3-bed townhouses. Residents will have access to private gardens, children’s play area and a roof terrace overlooking the canal. The scheme will also contain a public square, workspaces, cafes and a creche.
Car parking and bicycle storage is proposed at undercroft and at surface levels, with a number of dedicated car sharing spaces in convenient locations.
A new street will run east-west across the north of the site and the creation of a new public space at the heart of the proposed scheme will connect to a publicly accessible linear park along the canal to the south.
